#END1IN10
Child sexual abuse is one of the leading health concerns facing society today, with the widest array of consequences. Statistics reveal that if nothing changes, 1 in 10 children in America will be sexually abused before they turn 18. It’s time to get educated, foster awareness and empower children. Join the movement to #END1IN10.

Get Educated & Equipped to Protect Children
As Darkness to Light Partners in Prevention, we encourage you to take the Stewards of Children Training, either as an individual or an organization.
As Partners in Prevention through D2L, we advocate that every member of the public should take this important training. For individuals or organizations caring for children or youth in any capacity, we strongly recommend taking the 2.5 hour Darkness to Light “Stewards of Children” training. This comprehensive, video-based, training provides facts and statistics about child sexual abuse, insight from adult survivors, and the fundamentals of assessing, responding to, and reporting suspected or known situations of abuse. We have an authorized facilitator on our team that can coordinate a training for individuals, small group, or an entire staff. For more information on this training, or to book a training event, contact Emily Parker HERE.
