Crystal Sutherland

Crystal Sutherland is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of two, and a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who has learned how to thrive in Christ. She is the author of Journey to Heal: Seven Essential Steps of Recovery for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. Her passion is to encourage women in their journey of faith and lead them to the hope and healing that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Crystal holds an MA in Theological Studies from Liberty University's Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. Her and her family attend Port City Community Church, where she serves as a women's Biblical Counselor on their Care Team. With over 20 years of ministry experience she is excited to build programs to help hurting women and impact lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Crystal and her husband, Wes, live with their youngest son, Isaac, in Wilmington, North Carolina.
