Crystal Sutherland is a wife, mother of three, grandmother of two, and a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who has learned how to thrive in Christ. She is the author of Journey to Heal: Seven Essential Steps of Recovery for Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. Her passion is to encourage women in their journey of faith and lead them to the hope and healing that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Crystal holds an MA in Theological Studies from Liberty University's Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA. Her and her family attend Port City Community Church, where she serves as a women's Biblical Counselor on their Care Team. With over 20 years of ministry experience involving operations, dicipleship, women's ministry, and worship, she is excited to build programs to help hurting women and impact lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Crystal and her husband Wes live with their youngest son, Isaac, in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Lisa is a wife, mother, grandmother, and a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who has learned how to thrive in Christ. Since finding hope, healing, and freedom through a Journey to Heal group she participated in 2016, she has become passionate about helping other survivors find the same. She has 20 years of experience serving the Wilmington community in Emergency Management /911, where she is presently acting as the QA Specialist. Lisa attended Cape Fear Community College for Child Development and Early Childhood Education and has almost 30 years of ministry experience, primarily in Children's Ministry. Her and her family attend Port City Community Church where she serves as a Biblical Counselor on their Care Team. Lisa and her husband Michael live in Leland, North Carolina.

Emily is a wife and homeschool mother of two. As the parent of a child sexual abuse survivor, as well as a survivor herself, Emily is passionate in her efforts to educate families and her local community - not only about the epidemic of sexual violence in our culture, but about the hope and healing to be found in Jesus Christ. Emily attends Port City Community Church in Leland, NC, where she has serves as a Biblical counselor on the Care Team, as well as in Missions and Student and Adult Ministries. She is passionate about helping women live the abundant life God created us all to live. Emily and her husband, Carl, have two children, Cayla and Collin. They reside in Leland, North Carolina.
Randy & Becky Reed
Founding Board Members & Mentors for Marriage & Family
Randy and Becky Reed have been married for over forty years. Randy is employed as an Account Manager for a major corporation and Becky is a Homemaker. Both recently became Chaplains working with Warrior Family Ministries in Wilmington, NC. They attend Port City Community Church and are on the Biblical Counseling Care Team. They have worked with married couples for over twelve years. Their main passion is to lead couples into a Christ centered marriage. Randy has served on several Boards over the years and is excited to lend his experience to JTHM. Randy is a childhood sexual abuse survivor and both Randy and Becky understand personally the devastating effects sexual abuse can have on marriages. A relationship with Christ gave them hope and healing in their marriage and now they want to pass that hope on to other couples. They are ready to jump in to support JTHM’s mission. Randy and Becky reside in Hampstead, NC. They have a son who lives in Lancaster, PA and daughter who lives in Durham, NC.
Wendy Baisley Roache

Wendy Baisley Roache, Author/Speaker, recently retired from a successful career as vice president of business operations in the healthcare industry. She enjoys teaching communication techniques in the work place, as well as for state and local public service groups, including volunteer and chaplaincy programs. Wendy received training through Saddleback Church's lay-counseling program and has facilitated various recovery groups, as well as leadership in her local chapter of Community Bible Study. Wendy created the UNbroken Hope Necklace Ministry as a visual reminder for women because 'No matter how broken or shattered we are, God's love is the mortar that puts us back together'. Wendy has also had guest appearances on FYI Radio Ministry and CBN's 700 Club and 700 Club Interactive TV shows. She is the mother of two grown children and lives in California with her husband.
